Modern Electric has been a part of this community for more than 84 years. In that time we have known 4 different owners and countless electricians. Todays owners, Ron and Chris, both started here as apprentices and earned their Journeyman certificates before moving on to other endeavours. Both of them returned here in the early 2000’s before taking over the business in 2016.
After earning his Electrical Journeyman, Ron went on to work at Rocky Wood where he eventually got his Mill Wright ticket. He returned here in 2003. You will usually find Ron in the shop happily answering any electrical questions you may have and finding you the parts you need. Ron does most of the booking and dispatching of our electricians as well and on occasion, he will be knocking at your door delivering and setting up your brand new appliances.
After Chris earned his Electrical Journeyman, he went on to work at Sunpine (now West Fraser) working his way up in the ranks. He returned here in 2004.
